Do You Have S.M.A.R.T. Network Marketing Goals for 2011?

In this post, I’ll share with you a quick 5 step exercise that you can use to set network marketing goals that will help you reach top earner status in no time. Make sure you write down your goals. I can’t stress how important this part is. Do this right now and see the best results you have ever had in 2011.

Specific – Choose Specific Network Marketing Goals

Being as specific as possible will bring clarity and direction to your business activities. A specific network marketing goal is to recruit 2 people per week.

Rather than saying I will recruit some people. If you are specific, you will what you’re doing, when you’re doing it.

WRITE DOWN YOUR GOALS RIGHT NOW

Measurable – Choose a Network Marketing Goal That Can Be Measured

Continuing with the example above, if you choose a goal that can be measured you know if you’ve actually hit your goal or not. For example, if you recruit 1 person per week, then you’ve only met half your goal.

Another example is to do 10 presentations per week. If you only do 5, then you know you haven’t met your goal.

Attainable – Choose a Network Marketing Goal that is Attainable

When you choose a goal saying that you’re going to be a million dollar earner by the end of the year and you’ve never done network marketing, you are setting yourself up for disappointment.

It’s important to choose goals that are challenging, but not too easy. A good analogy is like going on a run with a set time to run the distance in. You want to finish the run, but you don’t want the run to be too slow that you don’t get a work out. You want feel the burn at the end and get a good workout.

Relevant – Choose a Network Marketing Goal that is Relevant

This one’s a little more difficult, but I can help you with this. You need to stay on track and think about what goals your setting. If your goal is to create a large organization, then your goal needs to be focused on either duplication or recruiting. Personally, I would choose recruiting.

Why? Because your downline is going to mimic your moves.

For example, choosing a goal of making $1,000 per month isn’t relevant because that money can come from other areas other than network marketing.

Timely – Choose a Network Marketing Goal that is Timely

Here’s the part that most people absolutely BLOW IT. Most people say, “I’m gonna recruit 2 people per week.” That’s a good goal, but when are you going to achieve this goal?

You need to have a hard deadline to meet. Period. Without the deadline, your goals are just something you said you’d do and maybe you hit them maybe you don’t.

The bottom line is this, you want to be on a network marketing team with leadership that doesn’t take goal setting for granted. You NEED to have S.M.A.R.T. goals to be successful in this industry. If you’re ready to be a part of my PERSONAL network marketing team. Click Here and I’ll contact you in the next 24-48 hours and we’ll get on the quickest road to success.

Remember your online network marketing is only as good as you make it and the people that support you. Don’t make the mistake of wasting time and money spinning your tires trying to figure it out because we already have.

Sincerely,
