Recruit Professionals with Ease

Recruit Professionals with Ease

So you wanna run with the big dogs aye? Well you better check your shorts and make sure you’ve got some extra undies in your back pack cuz ur gonna need ‘em.

The Best Professionals for Your Network Marketing Business

My definition of a professional is someone who has mastered a particular skill set and gets paid a handsome ransom based on that skill set. These people picked one skill and mastered it and should be considered experts in their respective fields.

It is important to target professionals who have a skill set that is already tailored to the network marketing profession. Salesman, professional recruiters, directors, managers, mortgage brokers, real estate agents, and other high powered executives, just to name a few.

Some of the skills you want to look for are the following:

  1. Leadership
  2. Communication – Verbal and Non-Verbal
  3. Multitask
  4. Can motivate others
  5. Understands sales and human psychology
  6. Sets and meets/exceeds goals regularly

And there’s plenty of other skills you need to keep your eye out for, but you get the gist. The best professionals will at minimum possess these skills. They are professionals after all.

Ok. So you know what you’re looking for, but do you know what to say once you get these people on the phone?

How to Approach a Professional About Your Network Marketing Business

First impressions matter. Here’s a good opening line script that you can use:

Hi is Mr. Mortgage there?

This is Mark Gubuan calling from Portland, Oregon. How are you?… Great!!

Listen, I’m calling because I’m aggressively expanding my company throughout the state of California and I’m seeking out high quality professional talent to partner with me.

Are you currently open to hearing about a low risk opportunity where you can make a substantial amount of income outside of what you’re doing now?

Well of course it depends, I wouldn’t jump into anything without hearing more about it either. I can send you an email that outlines my business or I can send you an audio CD, what works best for you?

Done and done.

Now the next step is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.

After you get a yes, go directly into setting up the follow up appointment. Set a day and time where you will be contacting this person. You need to hold them accountable for going through the information.

Remember YOU have an opportunity for THEM. Not the other way around. YOU are doing THEM a favor.

Posture is very important at this stage because depending on who you’re talking to, they may attempt to gain control at this stage. Keep the initial contact short and keep it simple.

Recruiting professionals into your network marketing business can seem like you’re trying to jump the Grand Canyon, but it doesn’t have to be like that. The process is really a lot more simple than it seems.

Use a Bridge

Don't Be Dumb Use a Bridge

Instead of jumping over the Grand Canyon, build a bridge and then drive over it like a bat outta hell!!! Much easier and you get to live another day!

Did this post make you wanna pick up the phone and call someone? Call me now at (503) 805-9996 and we can talk about how we can work together. Oh and I’m a professional.

Hi Mark,

You’re exactly right with these tips. It can be tricky at first and almost scary, but you just have to jump in and do it. ;)

I love your analogy of jumping the Grand Canyon. Yes, a bridge is better. lol

Have a great day!

Hey Mark,

I agree that seeking out professionals is a great way to recruit. I also recommend finding out at some stage whether people have encountered challenges of some kind in their life. listening to them tell you about these and how they dealt with them provides a lot of insight as to whether they will ever have what it takes to be successful in an industry than can be very challenging.

Cheers

Marcus,

Adversity is a total blessing. It’s what gives each one of us a personality and defines who we are as humans. Professionals encounter so much adversity and we need to learn from them.

Thanks for stopping by!

Susanna,

I’m guilty of making things more complicated than it has to. Simplicity is definitely the way to think about any task that seems a little bit daunting. See you around!

Hey Mark,

I like how you keep it short and to the point, to many people try to give an entire presentation at the first hint of interest.

The best prospects are the ones that are already successfull

My background is in real estate and it’s so easy to talk “real estate” to agents however i was having a challenge on talking to them about mlm. Your approach simplifies for me. Thank you!!!
