An MLM Tribe Can Propel You to Stardom

The tribe concept is really nothing new. If you think about it, tribes have always existed. From the time of the hunter gatherer to the present. This post isn’t some history lesson, it’s about getting results from strategies you learn. A tribe functions the best in history when it worked together as a unit. Get the tribe to accept you by following these three steps.

Here are 3 steps to making sure that if you join an mlm tribe, that it works for you.

Step 1 – Picking the Right MLM Tribe

Since this is an Online Network Marketing Success blog I’m going to focus in on MLM Tribes.

MLM Tribes are actually not as common as you’d think. Yes I know there’s big, very big paid communities that are centered around the tribe concept. But even then, the concept doesn’t work for other people because of reciprocity.

I think it’s because people kind of live in their own online marketing bubbles and choose not to leverage other people. They think of themselves first.

Which is stupid.

But I digress. To pick the right tribe all you have to do is evaluate the consistency of the tribe. Are the people within the tribe consistently sharing FRESH new content?

If the answer is a resounding YES, then get in on that.

Like attracts like. So if you want to be seen, heard and respected, you have to lead by example and follow the footsteps of the real leaders. And lead YOUR MLM tribe.

Ste 2 The Law of Reciprocation

You must GIVE to RECEIVE.

Really quick, the whole point of the tribe is to leverage the efforts of many people for your benefit. Sound familiar?

It should, because that’s what MLM is all about.

Ok, so here’s what you do, you need to make sure you find your tribe’s content. DAILY.

And SHARE it!

If you don’t share first, they won’t see the point in sharing your stuff. Still not getting results?

Keep reading because this is probably the missing ingredient.

Step 3 Getting The Most out Of Your Tribe

You’ve got to connect. How many friggin’ times have I written those words. Over and over and over and over.

CONNECT!!! Damn it!

I’m not even talking about Facebook connecting. Oh and while we’re on the subject. Connect with me on Facebook here.

I’m talking about picking up the phone. GASP! Not the phone?!

Yeah, it has magical powers that are unbelievable. It has the ability to get you what you want when you want it.

So what do you say exactly? Simple. Say this, “Hi my name is <insert your name here>. I’m a member of your MLM tribe and we’ve never spoken on the phone before. I wanted to make sure we were on the same page as far as when you put out your content. I want to make sure to share and comment on what you have.

NINJA SECRET: It’s all about what YOU can do for THEM.

Cool? Don’t forget to leave a comment FIRST and THEN share the crap out of this post.

Sincerely,

Hi Mark, well said, great post! I like the idea of the tribe and the way you put it into words make it even more interesting. I love the phrase, “its all about them”. It’s really all about them, not ourselves! Thanks for a very educational post! Kudos!

Hey Mark, you really hit it on the nail on this one. Finding a consistent tribe that posts daily, sharing other contents, and connecting over the phone will guarantee you much success. Thanks for sharing!

Great article Mark. I would have never thought to pick up the phone and network personally with the folks in my tribe. Network Marketing IS a people business, afterall, and that makes perfect sense!

Karen,

It’s true right? We just need to connect on a more personal level.

Sherman,

The tribe is so critical to your success, if you don’t work for them, they don’t work for you.

Hi Marie,

I’m not sure if I’ve already replied to this, but we must be mindful about the law of reciprocation.
