Is there really a shortcut or is it that a myth? Or maybe some people just learn things more easily than others? Why is that? Is it their IQ? Do they have a photographic memory? Or do some people just work harder than others?
In my opinion, I think some people just work harder than others. How hard do you work?
When you don’t understand something, is it easier to re-read something or to leave it be and come back to it after an hour?
So what’s the point of this post?
Well I want you to understand that you cannot expect to learn everything in a day. You cannot expect to be a genius at something, unless you actually are. And you cannot expect to be number one after a few months.
Even Mike Dillard, Brian Tracy and Jeffery Combs had to start somewhere. It’s easy to get discouraged, when you’re not making any money. But it’s even harder to stay motivated when you start making money.
Tip: It’s important to have a decent road map in place. You need a plan set in stone. And you need to hold yourself accountable.
Remember when you were growing up and you had to go from 1st to 2nd grade. Then 3rd to 4th and so on? Well, you were learning new skills and it took time. You couldn’t go from 1st to 4th grade because there were certain things that you needed to learn first.
There are no shortcuts!!
Understanding where you’re going is as important as how you get there.
Tip: Find a mentor/coach that’s going to help you achieve success.
When you achieve success, make sure that you reward not only yourself, but give thanks to all of those people that got you there. These coaches and mentors are people that sacrifice for your success and you need to give them their due recognition.
I want to offer you an opportunity for me to mentor and coach you. Just enter your information into the form below and get access to my newsletter. Leave me your phone number so that I can contact you. If you can’t wait, you can contact me. Just leave me a comment.

Not too sure how I stumbled upon this blog but glad I did find it. Think I was looking for something else online. Not sure I agree 100% with what you say, but have bookmaked and will pop back to examine to see if you add any additional posts. Continue the great work.
Hi Mark,
I can see that you and I think alike
A steep learning curve comes with practice. Practice meaning to make learning a daily ritual. The learners inherit the earth while the learned find themselves equipped to deal with a world which is history.
You’re in my Google Reader. Thanks for sharing your insight.
Hi Ryan!
Yeah, when I was writing this post I was wondering if this would resonate with anyone. Thanks for stopping by!
I think it’s important to note, that we must APPLY what we learn because if we don’t it’s just useless knowledge. Unless you’re on Jepordy, then it’s just money in the bank. But even the contestants study their butts off.

Hi there!
I’m glad you found me! Well what is it about what I said that you don’t agree about? Let me know and come back often.
Thanks,
Mark
I usually agree with the posts on this blog, but in this case I ought to say that I do not share your views.
