Why did I start this blog? I started this blog because I wanted to establish myself as a leader in the online world. I wanted to demonstrate to people that it is possible to go after what you really want in life.

I believe in helping others and I wanted to do something. For the longest time I couldn’t figure out what that was. One day I came to a realization.

I realized that I was talented with finances, business development and strategy. I believe in living everyday with a purpose. My purpose everyday is to help others while utilizing my talents.

So. I love my job. I do. I work with great people with a great company. We’re even growing in a recessionary economy. But….

Do you ever think that there’s more to life? That you haven’t accomplished what you’re here on this Earth for? That you’re destined for something greater?

Sometimes when you’re stuck in a rut you’ve got to make a change. Sometimes its an internal change. Sometimes its a physical change.

I chose to make all of those changes. Because I feel like I can do more than just the same desk job everyday. Time and energy is continually being spent on running someone elses business. That’s great if that’s your destiny.

But I don’t feel that way. I like what a j.o.b. brings and that’s security and consistency. But what I don’t like is the feeling that I’m wasting time.

Time that I can be spending improving who I am personally.  Time is wasted driving to work everyday. I can’t even workout unless its at 5 AM. Yeah I wake up at 4:45am to get to the gym. I can only do that for so many days before I get sick of it.

I don’t have time to eat breakfast in the morning unless I can carry it around town. I mean I like eggs, toast, bacon and oj in the morning.

I work the typical 8 hour day for the “man”. I’d honestly rather spend that with family and friends. Isn’t that really what life’s about? The connections we make with people?

You know what I’d love to be doing instead of working? I’d like to know that I was financially free and that I could do whatever, whenever. That just sounds even better as I read that aloud.

Let me repeat this again. I would like to do whatever I want, whenever I want, so that I can spend time with my family and friends. But I vow to help as many people on the way realize their dreams.

That’s my why.
