10. Facebook Like

Let’s be real, Facebook is like the ocean and all rivers and streams eventually lead to it. So if you want more leads for your network marketing business. Your blog needs the like button. Seriously.

When someone in the MLM niche clicks like on your post, their friends are gonna see it and depending on their security settings, their friends friends will see it. And they tell two friends and they tell two friends and so and so on. ( obscure Wayne’s World quote)

9. WP Greet Box

This is underutilized. Take a look at alexa.com and figure out where most of your traffic is coming from. Then download this plugin and find the “greeting” for that traffic source. Then CUSTOMIZE this.

Think about the mentality of a Googler vs. a Facebooker.

A Facebooker is looking to kick it and hang out. A Googler is looking to get info and get out.

You will have to say different things for different people. What I mean exactly is that your audience is very different depending on where they’re coming from. Some people will respond differently to different things.

8. OnlyWire

You got a blog right? Well you’ll need backlinks. This plugin automatically creates social media backlinks like it’s nobody’s business.

Write a post and BAM 42 backlinks. WHAT!!! It’s a pain in the butt to set up 42 profiles, pay someone to do it if you can otherwise, it’ll take like 2-3 hours. But it’s well worth it. When visitors get to your post, they can then share it over all 42 different social media sites.

7. Growmap Anti-Spambot Plugin

This is pretty sweet because it makes the spambots pretty much go bye bye. They don’t have the ability to “click” a box.

It’s a must have because it eliminates pretty much all the rest of the spam that Akismet doesn’t clean up for you. When a person comments they simply check a box before they hit submit. Try it out at the end of this post when you leave  a comment, so painless.

6. Thank Me Later

Another underutilized plugin. Thank me later will actually send a personalized message to anyone who comments a couple of days later.

Kind of a HEY! Remember me? kinda thing. It’s cool because it keeps YOU in the forefront of their minds. And it’s another opportunity to drive people to your business whether it be back to your blog to an affiliate promotion or to your primary opportunity.

5. Facebook Social

Since Facebook pretty much has a strangle hold on social online interaction. You need this plugin if you have a lot of Facebook followers. I don’t have it on here, but I use it for a lot of other web pages.

This plugin is essential because it connects your “nerve center” to Facebook. Which, if you didn’t know already, is the #2 most visited website in the world.

How it works is simple, when someone comments via this plugin, it gives them the option to post the comment to their Facebook wall. This can create a very viral effect and often does.

4. LinkWithin

This is a pretty snazzy plugin that shows related posts at the end of all of your posts. This continues to engage your readers after they finish reading. The more people stay and check out your content, more apt they are to get to know you.

People that know, like and trust you will be more likely to join you in business.

What I like about this plugin is that it takes the pictures in the post and creates great visual thumbnails drawing the attention of the reader to more content. The downside is that it distracts from comments and sharing.

3. Sharebar

I love this plugin because it floats next to your content as your reader scrolls down. It’s like a constant reminder to share. It’s fully customizeable.

Having your content shared is what makes you more and more credible in the eyes of the market. If they see that people are sharing your stuff, then it piques curiosity and clicks.

This plugin is based around the lightbox feature. Basically when this pop up appears, the only thing that your visitor will see is this ad. If you have a compelling offer you will see some incredible results.
